On April 24, 2026, the 19th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition（Auto Beijing 2026）officially opened. Dongfeng Forthing unveiled Forthing V6, its all-new all-electric 6-seat family model. Forthing V6, jointly developed with Huawei, is equipped with Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS（Huawei ADS）and built around the core philosophy For the Family. It aims to deliver smarter, more effortless, and more dignified mobility for large families across China.
At the launch event, Chen Zhengyu, Product Director of Dongfeng Forthing, and Liao Yong, Vice President of Huawei Smart Automotive Solutions BU, jointly unveiled the new model, opening a new chapter of intelligent mobility for Chinese families. This launch expands Forthing's new energy lineup and demonstrates the deep integration of state-owned automotive manufacturing heritage and Huawei's cutting-edge technology.
As Chinese families evolve toward the “4+2+1” structure, customer demand has shifted from basic transportation to high-quality mobile living spaces. Based on in-depth research with 4,600 users, Forthing targeted key pain points in large-space vehicles: high barriers to intelligent driving, monotonous experience, and conservative design.
Forthing V6 not only delivers spacious comfort for the whole family but also uses intelligent technology to reduce driving stress. With an accessible price point, it provides premium intelligent features comparable to luxury vehicles for daily family journeys.
Forthing's intelligent transformation is backed by six years of deep collaboration with Huawei. Forthing inherits the superior craftsmanship and strict quality control of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor since 1954, with over 2 million users worldwide.
Since 2019, the two parties have fully cooperated in vehicle development and process systems. Huawei's IPD system has been integrated into Forthing's manufacturing DNA, enabling a complete upgrade of its R&D system.
Forthing V6 features three core strengths:

The event announced that Forthing V6 is scheduled to officially launch in the second half of 2026.
